Where does the business data come from?
ppclift combines OpenStreetMap and Google Places, merges the two by domain and name, and removes duplicates. That means you get far better coverage than either source alone - especially in regional areas, where OpenStreetMap data is often thin.
Is the SEO score a real audit or an estimate?
It's a real audit. ppclift fetches each business's actual homepage and checks it against 15 concrete on-page criteria - title tags, meta descriptions, H1 usage, image alt text, mobile viewport, structured data, canonical tags, Open Graph and more. Every issue in the list is something genuinely missing from that page.
Do I need to install anything or connect an API?
No. ppclift runs entirely in your browser - there's nothing to install, no API keys to configure, and no integrations to set up. Sign in, type a city, and search. It also installs as a mobile app straight from your browser if you want it on your phone.
Can I use this for any country?
Yes. Searches work worldwide - any town, suburb or region. You can also switch between metric and imperial units to suit where you're working.
Are the leads exclusive to me?
The underlying business and audit data is shared and cached for up to 7 days, which is what keeps searches fast and the free plan free. Your lead statuses, notes and outreach activity are private to your account by default - and only shared with teammates you explicitly invite on the Pro plan.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
It stays yours. You can export everything - leads, notes, search history, digest subscriptions and account details - as a single file at any time, before or after cancelling. Cancelling a paid plan keeps your Pro limits until the end of the billing period, then moves you back to Free.
Is my payment information stored by ppclift?
No. Payments are handled entirely by PayPal - ppclift only ever receives a subscription ID and status, never your card or bank details.
